For a fair comparison, make sure the following inputs are consistent across all quotes. Consult each installer's salesperson or contact your utility if you have difficulty locating any number.
From Your Eversource/UI Bill:
Annual Usage (kWh) — Calculate the last 12 months of usage on your utility bill. Use the same Usage number for each quote.
Utility Rate ($/kWh) — To calculate: add up every line item total cost on your bill that shows a $/kWh rate and divide the total dollar amount by that month's usage in kWh. The higher the rate, the greater your solar savings. Use the same rate for every quote.
Monthly Service Charge ($) — Use the same fixed charge for every quote.
